Emeryville Today is an independent news site focused on Emeryville. Based at the University of California, Berkeley, Journalism School, it functions as a news lab for student reporters and as a news source for the Emeryville community.

Founded in 2026, Emeryville Today aims to be a resource for people who live and work in Emeryville. We cover governments, businesses and institutions. We're at City Hall, in the schools and in the neighborhoods. We keep tabs on the city's vibrant shopping and dining scene, and explore its parks, trails and waterfront.
